- But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
I hope that you agree that if God really did make/force his brothers to sell him into slavery, then they are not at fault.
I think the main question here is: Did God create the seven years of bounty, and seven years of famine, or did He use Joseph to keep the people alive during the famine?
Regardless of either situation, it was wrong for him to give Joseph famine, and to then in turn trade all of their gold, cattle, and their lives into slavery for food during a famine that was engineered.
